Volunteer With Us
Volunteer Events Committee:
Over the next year, Free Your Instinct will be developing a number of events to share our message with more people, and give more people the opportunity to #GiveParkourAGo. We are therefore looking to create a Volunteer Events Committee to help with these projects. With support from the Events Coordinator the Volunteer Events Committee will be an essential part of the success of Free Your Instincts events.
We are looking for anyone with a passion for festivals, funruns, parties and pastries (this list is not exhaustive) to assist with the development of our events throughout the year, including:
- Development of ideas, such as event theme and focus
- Sourcing suppliers
- Researching and contacting potential venues
- Email and engaging with attendees and participants
If you love developing and sharing ideas, are organised and would love to support Free Your Instinct, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you! please contact Charlotte Boenigk at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Our sessions thrive on the passion of our supporters. As a class volunteer, your role will be essential in helping our coaches deliver amazing classes to our participants. The class volunteer role is as dynamic as you are, with responsibilities including:
- Welcoming new participants and supporting them where needed
- Engaging with participants in a kind, friendly, supportive and non-judgemental manner
- Assisting with the set-up of class
- Assisting Lead/ Assistant coaches with session delivery
You don’t need to be David Belle or Sebastian Foucan to apply, but some previous experience of Parkour/ Freerunning/ Art Du Deplacement (ADD) ensures your passion can shine through and you have the opportunity to share this passion with others.
We are hugely appreciative of the time our volunteers dedicate to us, and as such class volunteers receive ongoing support from the lead coaches as well as the volunteer co-ordinator to identify training and development opportunities to help you progress further.
As a volunteer, you will also receive a “Free Your Instinct” Tshirt made from 100% recycled materials
If this sounds perfect, please contact Charlotte Boenigk at: email@example.com
As a small charity, the generous dedication of time provided by our volunteers is essential for us to keep doing our amazing work, and sharing our message. If you have skills or ideas that we have not listed above and would like to support us by becoming a volunteer, please do get in touch at: firstname.lastname@example.org
